LinkedIn content engine
Producing up to 50% of my weekly LinkedIn content, reducing content creation time by >2 hours/week. All while sounding like me.
| workflow | LinkedIn content ideation and production. |
| primary result | 2-3 posts/week, all tied to source material and examples of how I write. 100+ followers gained in <3 months, up from <100 at the time. |
I was manually writing posts, which ate into time I'd rather spend building. I wanted posts to be written faster while still sounding like I wrote it.
Originally started as a ChatGPT project that used source materials containing my own writing samples, content ideas to center around, and several guardrails. Evolved from obviously-AI-written content to you-probably-can't-tell. Maintained manual editing and review to ensure quality and accuracy. The workflow was eventually migrated to n8n once it stabilised and decision-making became deterministic enough to remove the need for LLM reasoning.
Up to 8 hours per month saved — roughly equivalent to one or two features/builds being shipped. Up to 15 posts per month, AI-produced and manually edited. Content creation became consistent, no longer sporadic (4 posts one week, 1 the next). Consistent posting was rewarded by the algorithm — hit my first 7,000+ impression post.
It was a consistent workflow I came across. I saw the opportunity to speed it up and recognised a key bottleneck.
100+ followers gained, up from less than 100, within 3 months.
